BTG Turns One Today — Help Me Build the Bridge

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BTG!! Today, August 18, BTG Coaching & Consulting LLC celebrates one year. And my heart is filled with gratitude. One year ago, I stepped forward with a vision rooted in three simple but powerful words: Peace. Power. Purpose.

I didn't know every place this journey would lead. I simply knew that I had been entrusted with experiences, lessons, gifts, and a desire to help others grow. Over this first year, BTG has created resources, workshops, devotionals, programs, and conversations designed to encourage people through grief, caregiving, leadership, faith, personal growth, and life's many transitions. Today I could simply celebrate everything that has happened. But I'd rather celebrate by building what comes next.

The Next Chapter: The GEN Z Generational Bridge Project

One issue continues to capture my attention: the growing divide between generations—particularly the way we understand, communicate with, mentor, and prepare Generation Z for leadership. Too often, generations are talking about one another instead of talking with one another. I believe we can change that.

BTG is preparing to launch the Generational Bridge Project, beginning with an initiative designed to help generations better understand one another, strengthen communication, exchange wisdom, and build healthier pathways for mentoring and leadership. This isn't about criticizing one generation or asking another generation to abandon everything it knows. It's about building a bridge. And bridges require builders. Will You Help Me Build It?

In honor of BTG's first anniversary, I'm launching the BUILD THE BRIDGE Anniversary Campaign to help fund the development and launch of this project. Your support will help with workshop development, participant resources, printing and production, pilot programs, outreach, digital materials, and opportunities to bring this work into churches, workplaces, educational settings, and communities.
